Who Owns Flippers Cinema?

Flippers Cinema is an Independant Movie Theater and Family Entertainment Center owned and operated by a small group of individuals. We have been operating Family Entertainment Centers in S. Florida for more than 25 years and have operated our Hollywood location since 2002.

How Do I Talk to a Real Person - Not a Recording?

Talking to us is easy. You can send us a question by completing the Form located on this page or you can call our Business line at 954-981-7721. Our Sales Associates do their best to answer every call in a timely manner, but during peak business hours, you may find it difficult to get through as they are probably assisting other Customers in the business.

Where Are You Located?

We are located at 7001 Taft Street, Hollywood Fl.

Taft Street is about 2 miles North of Hollywood Boulevard.

70th Ave is located about (1 Mile) East of University Dr. (or) about (1 Mile) West of U.S. 441 (a.k.a. State Road 7).

We are situated in the Publix Shopping Center on the North Side of Taft Street.

Why Don't You Have Birthday Party Packages?

For several years we offered All-Inclusive Birthday Party Packages and what we learned is that our location is a great place for Parents and Kids to celebrate birthdays. What we also learned is that our facility lacked some key essentials in making Birthday Parties truley terrific. The primary essential being Party Rooms. While we attempted mulitple solutions to this problem, none of them really worked to the degree that we thought was acceptable and, ultimately, we decided to discontinue our Birthday Packages.

As a business, we don't ever like to risk losing a Customer, but as people, we know that a Child's Birthday is an event that will be remembered forever and that if it isn't perfect then we have done something wrong. So, eventhough we don't offer Birthday Party Packages, it is our hope that Parents will continue to make Flippers Cinema & Arcade an extension of thier own personal Birthday Celebrations.

Do You Have Rocky Horror?

Our last showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show was on Oct. 30,2011 and marked the end of our 9 year commitment to this great Cult Classic.

Can I Buy Tickets Online?

Flippers Cinema does not currently offer the ability to purchase tickets over the phone or online. Tickets can be purchased up to 3 days in advance by visiting the location during regular business hours.

Do You Have 3D Movies?

Currently, Flippers Cinema does not offer 3D Movies. Our goal is and always will be to "Provide the Most Affordable Family Entertainment Possible". The manadatory surcharge of $3, that is placed on each ticket, does not match our goal. So, until such time that these costs can be reduced, Flippers Cinema will continue providing great entertainment in 2D only.

Do You Have Stadium Seating?

Unforunately, when we took over this location in 2002, converting to Stadium Seating was not possible because of the ceiling height restrictions of the building.

How Old Do You Have to be to Work at Flippers?

The minimum age requirement to work at Flippers Cinema is 17 years of Age.
